Onboarding during Covid is a challenge, but at Evonik we have skilled and creative colleagues who quickly adapted to this situation and did an amazing job in bringing the onboarding experience to the virtual space! Together with the team, I provided the new hires a first look at Creavis - the business incubator of Evonik. Last week the third time the Chemtrepreneur-Award took place at the CREAVIS in Marl. 15 students from the University Münster got a deep insight in the way our strategic research and development department works. Supported by experienced project managers they created and presented new ideas according to the actual growth line topics additive manufacturing, membranes and care. The winners got an invitation to our retention programm "Evonik Perspectives".
30 PHDs and postdocs from the FZ Jülich visited the CREAVIS in Marl to get to know how the strategic research development of Evonik is organized and which opportunities exist to start their career in the chemical industry at Evonik. Maybe this is the start of a regular fruitful exchange.
