Hi, I’m Jeffrey 😊 I’m so much grateful that I can express my feeling of #Changeforculture Challenge in Evonik Korea. In fact, it’s already been more than 20 years since I got my English name. However, since I didn’t get many chances to get used to it, so it was always awkward to be called by that name until my company recently implemented this policy of calling each other by their English names. Through #Callmebymyname Challenge inside Evonik Korea, I hope that everyone loves and enjoy using their English names in the near future, and cherish our own names, more than ever. Thank you 😊
Hi, this is Lauren from Korea who newly joined Evonik three months ago. I am glad that I could start my career here with Evonik Korea and be a part of the journey for a better and more open culture. This cultural transformation in the form of #Callmebymyname challenge would surely bring us more agility and energetic vibe to the atomosphere. Please encourage us and let's watch together where this new journey takes us to! :)
Hi, I’m Claire 😊 I started using name ‘Claire’ since I was 15 when I started living in Sydney that my Korean name ‘Inhae’ was a bit difficult to pronounce for some people. And now, I am more used to the English name than my legal name.
Although our Korean names are beautiful as they are, I believe this #CallmebymyName# challenge has opened a great opportunity for Evonik Korea colleagues to choose and use their own English name/nicknames that is also meaningful and memorable to the Evonik global colleagues and the customers. It might take a little while to get used to all new names but very excited to be part of the challenge for everyone!
It has been more than month since Evonik Korea has implemented "Cultural Transformation Initiative!"
Still I'm adapting to the new English name of our colleagues, but i really feel that our organization culture is becoming younger.
I am enjoying to participate in challenge of #CallmebymyName, and surely this movement will be very constructive.!
