Usually your first year in a new company is already one full of change and new things. But for new employees that joined us in the months before and during the pandemic this has been even more so! After the face-to-face Evonik Starting Kit (ESK) event in Essen last December, Xavier Hakkaart, Henrick Jens Rickmeier, Andrew John Stambolie, & Devid Mrusek got together and jointly organized an "ESK Reunion" to connect again and see how everyone is doing a year down the line. In the virtual space, there were opportunities to network with each other, hear about career development from Bruno Esteves and talk about grass-root movements and having a voice at Evonik during a session with Rainer Gimbel.
