Another win for APS
Evonik was awarded among the “Best companies to Work for in Asia” - yet again – this time in the Malaysia Edition of HR Asia Awards 2019.
Evonik was awarded among the “Best companies to Work for in Asia” - yet again – this time in the Malaysia Edition of HR Asia Awards 2019.

For the second year in a row, Evonik is named one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” by HR Asia, the premiere Asian publications for senior human resources professionals. Evonik was among the 50 award recipients presented with a silver trophy, in recognition of its efforts in human resources excellence, during the award ceremony held on November 8 at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

The win, as in the past, came as a result of team work and hard work. Their efforts were put under heavy scrutiny: implementation of best practices doubled with well thought-out and localized employee engagement programs were among the few things that were assessed in the rigorous judging process. Besides several team building activities to enhance employee engagement, for example, Evonik Malaysia also successfully launched the #HumanChemistry campaign with a series of interactive challenges and games via mobile app. With a theme based on the new Corporate Values, the initiative has been well-received by employees.

“We are proud to have received this award,” said Dr. Ibrahim Mohd Idris, Managing Director of Evonik Malaysia. “This recognition is not just a reflection of our success, but also a timely reminder for us, as employers, of our commitment in creating and sustaining workplace excellence even in challenging times,” he added.
