Evonik Receives "Leading Employers" Award for the Fourth Time

From 100,000 companies and 8 million pieces of data the best employers were identified - Evonik impressed the jury for the fourth time and belongs again to the top 1% employers in Germany and takes the first place in the chemicals sector for the fourth time in a row.

The “Leading Employers” award is the world's most comprehensive study of employer qualities. Each target group, ranging from interns and recent graduates to professionals, was considered. This year, extensive subject areas were again considered, including attractiveness, satisfaction, innovation and talent communication.

 

 

Evonik was particularly convincing in the areas of satisfaction, talent communication and benefits, taking first place in chemistry, second in the city of Essen and third in all North Rhine-Westphalia. 

 

 

In the areas of satisfaction and benefits, Evonik received a total of 4.5 out of 5 stars and impressed in the existing categories of employee satisfaction, applicant satisfaction and recommendation. Among other things, our employees are satisfied because of the canteen, the company doctor, the flexible working hours and the health measures required to the current situation. 

The career website, job advertisements and social media channels were examined to assess talent communication. With 4 out of 5 stars, Evonik also achieved a top rating here. 

The “Leading Employers” award is based on millions of freely available data and 200 global sources and thus brings together a broad spectrum of quality criteria in a holistic view. It is the most comprehensive employer evaluation system of its kind in the world and highlights all aspects that are important for an employee.
