Louis: As a chemical engineer in the process department, what do we do? We do teamwork.
We work together to obtain a feasible concept.
For example, to add liquid in a safe manner from an isolator, and if we have a feasible concept, we go into the hazardous analysis, where we look how we can avoid dangerous scenarios.
Then, we install the piece of equipment in the plant and test it so it works like it has to work.
We look or follow up during the production, so we solve problems that arise, and at the end, we also look back and see how we can improve ourselves.

Louis: As a Technical Engineer, you need to solve a lot of questions.
VARIOUS MACHINES
Louis: For example, what is the maximum pressure that this pump can provide, and is this dangerous to the process?
To which temperature do we need to cool the process off-gasses to avoid emitting solvents into the atmosphere?
How much surface does a heat exchanger need to heat or cool contents in a given time?
