Trainee program in IT

Did you just finish your studies and have a strong affinity for IT? Join us in our IT trainee program to have the opportunity to practice your knowledge and implement your creative ideas!

During the IT trainee program which spans a period of 18 months, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the IT department of an international company by working at various locations and actively shaping exciting IT projects and processes.

From your first day on the job, you will be supported by experienced colleagues from the IT community which consists of around one thousand IT specialists across the world. In addition, managers will accompany you as mentors, and you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills on the job and through workshops and seminars. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in a project that has a social and sustainability angle.

A three-month project assignment abroad is an integral part of the IT trainee program and offers an entry into an IT management career with the Evonik Group. After your time as a trainee, you will be able to start working in one of the numerous IT roles at Evonik such as an IT Product Manager, IT Solution Architect, or IT Project Manager.

The trainee program starts on October 01, 2023.

Degree in economics, natural sciences, or engineering, with an affinity for IT and above-average academic grades (Master's degree preferred).

Fluency in German and English.

After the successful completion of the IT trainee program, permanent employment with Evonik is guaranteed.
