Trainee program in Research, Development & Innovation

In our trainee program, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the multifaceted world of research and development at a leading specialty chemicals company.

You have completed your doctorate in chemistry or in a comparable natural science with above-average success? Or are you about to do so and looking forward to contributing your acquired knowledge to a company? In our 18-month trainee program, you will get to know the Research, Development & Innovation department in an international environment at various locations and actively shape the future of Evonik's portfolio.

You will be supported by experienced colleagues from the RD&I community. In addition, managers accompany you as mentors and you develop your technical and methodological skills on-the-job and off-the-job in workshops and seminars. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a project on social and sustainable topics.

These activities are carried out together with other Evonik trainees.

During a three-month stay abroad, you can deepen your international skills.

The trainee program starts on October 1, 2023.

Completed doctorate in chemistry or a comparable natural science with above-average success

Fluency in German and English
