All new possibilities for 3D printing?

We are on the verge a major transformation and 3D printing is a significant part of the journey to the 4th Industrial Revolution. The digital reinvention of manufacturing includes changing the way enterprises and engineers design, manufacture and distribute products. Scientists researching how to use 3D printing materials in the medical industry and food industry 3D printing is an example of how this innovative technology is coming to life. And that’s exactly where Evonik’s specialty polymer powders are aiming at.

Working together on high performance polymers like VESTOSINT® is a wave of the future. Our biggest clients are the global technology and quality leaders like EOS or HP Inc., highly innovation-minded and active in industries like automotive, aerospace and medical. Many of the employees in the High Performance Polymers business line play a supporting role in their innovation processes. Some of these roles include: researcher or technical consultant, production engineer and operator, as well as managers in marketing, communication or sales.

Evonik teamed up with the American technology company HP Inc. to accelerate the development of new plastic powders for 3D printing. VESTOSINT® 3D Z2773 is compliant with HP Jet Fusion 3D printers and is equipped with superior mechanical properties. If you’re an engineer or a designer you’ll love it for prototyping and production-ready parts! As with all VESTOSINT® powders, the 3D printing powder has a high resistance to chemical substances and to stress cracking.

VESTOSINT® is a great example of Evonik’s creative, research-driven culture. We always think further than our existing portfolio. There are many examples of exciting new possibilities that emerged from innovating existing products. VESTOSINT® is one of them. Do you want to be part of our next big thing? Take a look at our opportunities in High Performance Polymers and other business lines.
