Diversity is an important topic in the world of work and we are convinced of its power. Promoting social diversity among employees and teams is just as important as strenthening diversity and inclusion everywhere.
Two weeks ago, the Diversity & Inclusion Team at Evonik has taken over the official Evonik Instagram account and has shown its followers how Diversity and Inclusion are lived at Evonik. A "takeover" gives employees from various departments the opportunity to share impressions of their everyday work, the team or various projects with the outside world via the corporate Instagram account.
In the takeover, our Diversity & Inclusion Team put special focus on the new D&I Community. It is an online platform created to provide our employees a space to openly discuss diversity related topics of their choice and where they can learn about the tools and resources provided by Evonik.
In addition, we have asked colleagues from across the globe and from different functions what diversity means to them. The various unique answers prove the complexity of diversity and how it includes every aspect of our lives.
