Evonik Wins Employer Branding Creativity Awards for the Fourth Year

On December 2, 2024, the "2024 Employer Branding Creativity Awards" ceremony took place in Jingdezhen’s Taoxichuan. Hosted by the Employer Branding Institute, the event attracted 1,727 entries from 576 prominent companies, both domestic and international.

After seven months of fierce competition, Evonik was honored with the "Best Employer Brand Social Media Award," "Best EVP Project Award," and "Best DEI Program Award." These accolades not only highlight Evonik's innovative achievements in employer branding but also underscore its unwavering commitment to creating social value and advancing diversity and inclusion.

Best EVP Project Award: Evonik showcased the authenticity and credibility of its employer brand by conducting in-depth interviews with 30 senior leaders and 260 employees. This robust exploration extended to analyzing industry and 31non-industry competitors. To further refine our brand message, we engaged global focus groups, ensuring it resonates accurately and powerfully on a worldwide scale.

Best Employer Brand Social Media Award: Evonik captivated young talent by leveraging dynamic platforms like RED and WeChat to showcase its “Be Part of Something Special” employer brand. Through compelling employee stories and exciting career opportunities, we created a vibrant community that transcends traditional consumer boundaries. Our innovative social media strategies significantly amplified Evonik's brand reach and resonance.

Best DEI Project Award: The "Grow Beyond Yourself" initiative, launched in China in 2023, supports vocational students' sustainable growth and self-development, with a particular focus on empowering female students. It aligns with China's efforts to boost college-enterprise cooperation in vocational education. Over two years, the program has directly involved over 1,000 students and reached more than 90,000 people.

David Cheng, Vice President of Human Resources for Evonik North Asia, stated, "These awards acknowledge our ongoing efforts to build a trustworthy and appealing employer brand in the region. We have been advancing Human Resources development through various initiatives, such as the 'Be Part of Something Special' series in Xiaohongshu, where employees share their personal stories about why Evonik is an attractive workplace."
