Jana's commitment as a coach for high school students

Jana, HR Compensation Expert, is volunteering as a coach at business@school and shares her knowledge with high school students.

What motivated you to become a business@school coach?

I see the role of business@school coach as a great opportunity for personal development. By sharing my knowledge and experience, I am constantly learning myself. Another aspect that appealed to me was teaching entrepreneurial thinking. In a world that is constantly changing, it is important to impart basic economic knowledge. This not only fosters an understanding of connections but also the ability to make independent and responsible decisions in the future. Additionally, it is enjoyable to help high school students learn something outside the standard school curriculum.

What have you learned from your experience as a coach so far?

My experience as a coach has shown me how important it is to present complex topics in a simple and understandable way. The high school students often had difficulty grasping challenging concepts quickly. I have learned how to present this content in an accessible way. In addition, working with the new generation has given me insight into their perspectives. This understanding helps me to better understand them.

Your conclusion about business@school?
business@school is a great initiative to go beyond everyday work and learn new things.
