Dynasylan® by Evonik

The digital reinvention of manufacturing includes changing the way enterprises and engineers design, manufacture and distribute products. Scientists researching how to use 3D printing materials in the medical industry and 3D printing in the food industry are examples of how this innovative technology is coming to life. And that’s exactly what Evonik’s specialty polymer powders are aiming at.

Corrosion causes significant damage and increases maintenance costs. Bridges and other construction in the area of heavy corrosion protection have to endure the harshest climatic phenomena. Zinc-rich paints based on organic binders like our famous Dynasylan® SIVO 140 protect against an array of unfavorable conditions, such as extreme temperatures, humidity, salt and UV radiation.

These formulations are constantly gaining in importance in the matter of corrosion protection, because they are almost VOC-free compared to inorganic binders and consequently better for the environment. Zinc-rich paints based on this innovative binder are characterized by a good heat and chemical resistance as well as an excellent UV stability.

The exciting aspect of Dynasylan® silanes is their unexplored possibilities. Our researchers keep developing new applications and working closely with our clients. Most of our employees in sales positions also have a technical background and act as a sparring partner for their clients

A large range of applications in adhesives and sealants, coatings or plastics are served by silanes and new products are being developed continuously. This makes the Dynasylan® product range one of the most versatile in the Evonik family. This broad product range has many different applications in the most diverse markets.

A variety of professionals form a great team that keeps Dynasylan® growing in all our regions worldwide. Discover for yourself the dynamics of silanes.
