Arrive Better - Onboarding for a good start
You have prepared for your start at Evonik - and so have we! Our Going Purple onboarding program helps to prepare for your first days at Evonik. Upon your arrival you will join us on a digital learning journey and can take part in a two-day classroom event: The Evonik Starting Kit 4.0 includes networking opportunities with new colleagues and a virtual reality experience. You will get to know the most important topics in the company and learn about our work culture.

What is a video application (JobUFO)?
For some job positions, you have the possibility to create a video application instead of writing a standard application letter. This means that you introduce yourself in a 30-seconds-video. You will find an indication about this possibility in the respective job descriptions.
I can no longer find a job ad that I was interested in in the Job Market. Why is this?
Who can see my application?
When you create your user account, you can determine the recruiters who are allowed to see your application. You can choose whether only the recruiters for the job you are applying for may see your documents or whether all recruiters in Germany or in the world can access them. Recruiters can then suggest another suitable job for you. If this is the case, you will of course be notified. Data protection is ensured at all times. During the application phase, only the persons involved in the process have access to your application documents (see data protection information).
Why do I have to submit a data protection declaration?
Data protection is very important at Evonik.

Can I change the uploaded application documents during the ongoing application process?
In the recruiting software, we distinguish between your personal candidate profile and a job application. Your profile contains your personal information that you need in case you apply for a job vacancy later. You can continuously update this. When you apply for an advertised job, use the profile, a job-specific cover letter, your resume, and education and training certificates. If you have actively applied for a job, you can no longer change the profile you submitted with the application or the documents you uploaded. If you wish to make changes, get in touch with the contact person for the advertised job.
I forgot my access data/password.
On the login page, click “I forgot my password.” Enter the e-mail that you registered with. When you have completed this screen, you will immediately receive an e-mail with an activation link.

Please send any technical questions to firstname.lastname@example.org and describe the technical problem. Remember that applications sent to this address will not be considered in the application process. If you have problems opening the PDFs that are available for download on some of the pages, you need the newest Adobe Acrobat Reader or an PDF Reader.
