QUESTIONS ABOUT APPLICATION
Please apply using our online job application tool.
Here you can find step-by-step instructions.
Resume, letter, and education/training certificates from the time you completed school are required. You may provide other qualification documents that are relevant to the job. You may also put several certificates in one document. You may also provide us with more information that proves your qualification. The documents must not exceed 20 MB. Each file must not exceed 5 MB.
In each job description, a contact person is named at the end of the description under “Your Application.” You are welcome to send your application to this person.
Please submit your job application in digital format in our online jobs portal.
Yes. But please make sure that you upload a separate application for each job.
When you have uploaded your application via our online job application tool, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please also check your spam folder.
To guarantee a careful and fair assessment, the processing and response times vary. But in your best interest, everyone involved tries to process the application as quickly as possible. You will receive a reply in any case.
You can see the status of your application in your profile. We will also send you all the information about your application by e-mail: confirmation after successful registration and when we have received the application documents for a job vacancy, invitations to job interviews but also interim notices and rejection letters.
For some job positions, you have the possibility to create a video application instead of writing a standard application letter. This means that you introduce yourself in a 30-second-video. You will find an indication about this possibility in the respective job descriptions.
If a job can no longer be found in the Job Market, the vacancy has been filled, or there are already a large number of applications and no more applications are being accepted. In cases such as this, we remove the job from the Job Market.
When you create your user account, you can determine the recruiters who are allowed to see your application. You can choose whether only the recruiters for the job you are applying for may see your documents or whether all recruiters in Germany or in the world can access them. Recruiters can then suggest another suitable job for you. If this is the case, you will of course be notified. Data protection is ensured at all times. During the application phase, only the persons involved in the process have access to your application documents (see data protection information).
Data protection is very important at Evonik.
If you make an unsolicited application, it will not automatically be considered in the vacancy-filling process. If you are interested in joining us and cannot find a suitable job in our Job Market, we recommend that you register your application profile in our database. You can also set up an individual job alarm to notify you of suitable job ads.
Generally, it is advisable to send your application about 3 months in advance. But it is also possible that for certain jobs a shorter or longer processing time is proposed; this information can be found in the job advertisement.
In the recruiting software, we distinguish between your personal candidate profile and a job application. Your profile contains your personal information that you need in case you apply for a job vacancy later. You can continuously update this. When you apply for an advertised job, use the profile, a job-specific cover letter, your resume, and education and training certificates. If you have actively applied for a job, you can no longer change the profile you submitted with the application or the documents you uploaded. If you wish to make changes, get in touch with the contact person for the advertised job.
