Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederation, is a landlocked country bordered by Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein with a population of almost nine million people speaking four official languages; German, French, Italian, and Romansh. The Western European country enjoys a stable, prosperous, and high-tech economy, and it is the world's wealthiest country per capita in multiple rankings.

The offices of Evonik International AG are situated in Spaces' R2 Tower on Richtistraße 2, Wallisellen, in the suburbs of Zurich. The location is within walking distance of the train station and is very easily accessible from the airport, the motorway and Zurich city.

Zürich is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zürich, and it is home to more than 400,000 people. This dynamic city is a hub for railways, roads, and air traffic, and both Zurich Airport and Zürich's main railway station are the largest and busiest in the country. Zürich is also home to many financial institutions and banking companies and is considered a global city with one of the most dynamic business environments in the world.

Sins (Swiss German: [seis]) is a modern and rapidly growing small town in the canton of Aargau. It belongs to the district of Muri in the Reuss Valley and is located in the four-canton corner on the border with the cantons of Zug, Lucerne and Zurich. With over twenty square kilometers, Sins is the second largest municipality in the canton in terms of area. The community has very good transport links (public transport and roads) and an active village life. The adjacent Reuss plain offers a species-rich recreation area for hikers and cyclists.

Most countries require a special visa if you are planning to work there. However, it is important to note that many countries in Europe are a part of the Schengen area, a zone where 27 European countries, abolished their internal borders, for the free and unrestricted movement of people. This means that if you are from a country that is a part of the Schengen zone, you may not require a visa to work in another country in the same zone. Our local site managers and their assistants can help you find out what the regulations are for their specific location.
