Are you a Ph.D. graduate in chemistry or a related field with an above-average academic record? Or are you close to completing your Ph.D. and eager to apply your knowledge in a corporate environment? If so, our 18-month trainee program offers you a comprehensive understanding of the diverse world of research and development at a leading specialty chemicals company.
You will have the opportunity to work in Research, Development & Innovation at various locations in Germany and actively shape the future of Evonik's portfolio.
We offer flexibility, development opportunities, mentoring and international experience.
Throughout the program, you will be supported by experienced colleagues in R&D and mentored by senior managers. You will enhance your technical and methodological skills through on-the-job training, workshops and seminars. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in a social and sustainability project with other Evonik trainees.
To further develop your international skills, you will spend three months abroad.

Completed doctorate in chemistry or a related natural science with exceptional achievements
Fluent in German and English language
After completing the trainee program, you will take on an attractive RD&I task such as scientist, project manager or lab head.
